Our famous Jan Cats Restaurant serves find local and foreign dishes, and our sidewalk tables are ideal for a pub lunch or a visit with friends.
We serve live Crayfish, fresh Oysters, a "Catch of the day" and a selection of exotic Game dishes. We also have an a la Carte menu with a variety of items to choose from. Our wine list supports the local vineyards.
The Jan Cats Cocktail Lounge offers over thirty cocktail and martini creations with attentive and unobtrusive service. For a pre-dinner drink, or as a chill spot before an evening of dancing or for your next birthday party, the Jan Cats Cocktail Lounge rates high on comfort, high on service.
Conference Venues
The Stellenbosch Hotel are now able to offer two air-conditioned conference / function venues, the largest of which seats up to 90 guests. These venues are situated in the famous Jan Cats building, corner of Church and Andringa Streets.
The Stellenbosch Hotel was built on land granted by Gov. Simon Van der Stel between 1692 and 1701. The building was restored in 1987 and has been declared a national monument.
Museums, Art Galleries and Curio shops are all within safe walking distance.
