Our cheap Nambia Car Rental rates are available to travellers from all over the world. You will only be billed for your car when collecting it in Windhoek. We do NOT take your credit card number during the booking process, although you will still need to produce your credit card when collecting your car in Windhoek. You will be billed directly by National Alamo Namibia on your arrival in Namibia.

When will I be billed?	You will be billed only when collecting your Car in Windhoek and not during time of booking.
Is my booking safe?	Yes ! Cape Spirit is a proud Member of Cape Town Tourism and is the largest car rental agency for National Alamo Western Cape, and has a close business relationship with the Windhoek Car Rental branch. Read our Car Rental Customer Feedback here
Where will I collect and return my Car to ?	National Alamo will meet you at the airport upon your arrival, (your name will be printed on a board the driver will be holding up) and will shuttle you into Windhoek (at no charge) to complete the rental transaction and relevant paperwork. You will return the vehicle to the office in Windhoek. Once all the necessary paperwork has been completed (approximately 15 minutes) National Alamo will shuttle you to the airport (at no charge).  It is therefor essential that all arrival times and flight numbers are correctly reserved when you book your car online - the town office is 45km away from the airport and a mix-up in times could result in unnecessary delays. It is also imperative that you confirm your return time with the rental staff, so as to ensure someone is available to shuttle you to the airport. This trip takes approximately 45 minutes. Also please confirm the above details (arrival time and flight number) with Cape Spirit after you have reserved your car by contacting us

Is there an Excess and how does the Excess work with Car Rentals?	Yes, see the rates below to view the excess amount for the specific car required. You are liable for the excess amount in the event of theft / accident. The excess is authorised (reserved) over your credit card when collecting the Car and released (refunded) back to you when returning the Car in the same condition.
Refundable Fuel Deposit ?	There is a N$1000 Fuel Deposit. The Fuel Deposit is authorised (reserved) over your credit card when collecting the Car and released (refunded) back to you when returning the Car with a full tank of petrol again (you receive a full tank when collecting the car)
Contract fee ?	N$ 25 per booking
What documents are required when I collect the Car ?	You must have a valid Credit Card (no Debit Cards) to collect your car. (Visa, Mastercard, Diners, American Express) The Credit Card MUST be in the Driver's name. The Driver must hold a Valid Drivers License and must be present during the Car Rental. Drivers must have obtained their license at least two years prior to renting a vehicle. International Customers: If your original drivers license is in English it may be used. Otherwise please apply for an International Drivers License. Driver/s must also present a valid Passport, as well as the booking confirmation that you receive in your email after online reservation. Please note that although we do not request your Credit Card details during the reservation, it is still compulsory to have a valid credit card and present it to the Car rental office during the collection of your car. No cash or debit cards are accepted.
